🌍 Our Impact Travels Far

Our mission has caught the world’s eye. Every partnership helps us clean more oceans, support more artisans, and tell a bigger story of purpose through art.
BEACH CLEANUPS

❤️ Our Story

Ocean Sole was born on the shores of Kenya — where vibrant beaches are shadowed by the plastic tide washing in every day. Among the most common pollutants? Discarded flip-flops.

What began as a small community cleanup became something bigger: a movement to turn ocean pollution into purpose.

Today, we collect thousands of flip-flops from coastlines, waterways, and informal waste sites. Instead of adding to the problem, we transform them, by hand, into bold, joyful works of art. From miniature elephants to towering installations, each piece is a symbol of circular design and environmental hope.

♻️ Clean

🛍️ Retail
From lions to sea turtles, our vibrant creations fund cleanups, support artisans, and spark conversations worldwide.
🤝 Partnerships
We collaborate with zoos, aquariums, galleries, and purpose-driven brands to make art that inspires change.
🎨 Customs Pieces
Whether it's a life-sized sculpture or a branded installation, we bring your ideas to life with colour, care, and creativity.
THE WORKSHOP
Where the Magic Happens

Our Nairobi Workshop

Located in Karen Village, Nairobi, our vibrant workshop is where discarded flip-flops find new life and where over 20 talented Kenyan artisans transform waste into art.

Here, each piece is made by hand with care, skill, and story. Our process is entirely manual, rooted in traditional carving and powered by purpose. We’re proud to empower women, uplift local talent, and create dignified jobs that spark real change.

The workshop is also open to the world. We host school groups, art students, and curious travelers for inspiring tours, giving a behind-the-scenes look at how sustainability meets creativity.

And yes, there’s a shop too, where you can take a piece of the magic home.
