Description

Elephants are more than just majestic giants — they’re symbols of strength, wisdom, and family. Across many African cultures, elephants are seen as spiritual guardians and bringers of good fortune. Our XL and XXL Elephant sculptures celebrate that heritage through color, creativity, and conservation.

Each sculpture is hand-carved in Kenya from recycled flip-flops collected from oceans and landfills. Their bold size and vibrant patterns make them unforgettable statement pieces that represent something deeper — a commitment to our planet and the communities that protect it. Whether gifted or proudly displayed, these elephants bring soul and sustainability to any space.

All our products are made from recycled flip-flops that are collected from the beaches, waterways and landfills in Kenya. These products are hand carved by Kenyan artisans and are all unique, therefore they will differ in colour from the image shown.
Every sculpture is more than just décor — it’s a piece of upcycled art that tells a story of transformation. From recycled flip-flop art to full-sized recycled art sculptures, each creation supports ocean conservation art, promotes ethical home decor, and makes a meaningful impact as part of our social enterprise in Kenya. These pieces are ideal as sustainable gifts that bring purpose, color, and creativity into any space.

About Our Process

For 3.5 billion people living below the poverty line, the flip flop remains the most affordable form of footwear. And as a result, most of them end up in the ocean.

Each year we aim to upcycle 1 million+ flip flops found washed up across the Kenyan beaches which our local artisans then turn into art.
